CSE Career Fair
Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021
11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Who Should Attend?
Students alreadey applied to or accepted by the Co-op program.
Prospective Co-op students who are not sure if the program is for them. Don't forget that the deadline for applying to the Co-op Program is October 16th, 2020.
Freshmen and sophomores not yet in their major. This will help you figure out how to fit the Co-op Program into your academic plan.
Why should I attend the Career Fair?
This is an opportunity to put a face to your resume and emphasize your strengths and explain your weaknesses. Some students say their formal interviews are easier because they've already met the employer representative at the Career Fair and have established a rapport with the potential interviewer.
How should I prepare for the Career Fair?
Review the Co-op Career Fair Preparation Handout based on the CSE Career Center's Career Fair Preparation Guide.
View or download the Guidebook App (see the link in the sidebar when it is published) to learn more about the employers and their positions.
Bring multiple copies of your resume (see the Resume Writing Section for help on writing resumes) to distribute to company representatives.
New video helps students navigate the Career Fair
There is also a helpful video below to help students prepare. Unlike years past when the Co-op has had itw own separate job fair, we will now be integrated into the CSE Career Fair.
Preparing for a virtual career fair is similar but comes with a few key differences. CSE has produced a short video (below) that will help students get ready for this fall's virtual career fair.
